Happiness is...

... finding great bargains at the supermarkets. We've sourced out (especially the queen of bargains, small SH) the places to go and the times to be there for great markdowns on groceries like meats, breads, and vegetables. And believe me, the endorphin rush from finding pork pies marked down from 2+ pounds to 40 pence, or a loaf of wholemeal bread at 20 pence is almost as good as a chocolate rush. Walking back with a full and heavy shopping bag worth twice or thrice the amount you paid comes a close second. As J likes to put it, we've all become ah sams, going from shop to shop, comparing prices for the cheapest stuff. And enjoying it, and discussing our modi operandi and great buys. It's shopping with a twist.

On a separate note, we were talking about faith yesterday at OCF, and a thought struck me today, that sometimes, could it be my lack of faith in a certain situation, causing it to end in an adverse outcome, or take longer to resolve? It probably doesn't happen, but in retrospect, many ordeals I've been through could have been shortened a lot more if I stopped worrying and left everything to God.

Lord, help my unbelief.
