I've got a soft spot for these adorable creatures, ever since a friend gave me a little hedgehog soft toy and said, "This reminds me of you" (I wonder why). But they ARE cute, especially the way they curl up into little balls when they hibernate, or sleep, or want to protect themselves from the outside world.
I'm glad they're going to be the icon for UK's Environment Agency.
