Talk about biker gals and mafia...
No, I'm not going to walk around in a suit and hide a machine-gun in my violin case, but I'm going to introduce Mafia - the game, to you.
This game was first introduced to the M203 CG by Karen, our CG co-ordinator at that time, and we, especially Richard, got hooked! We've played it off and on ever since. We also played it in KKB - imagine, a tableful of girls laughing and talking while eating kuaci and playing Mafia! - and got everyone hooked on it as well. It was a great way to spend the nights, rather than sitting around reading our clinical medicine books. :P
Read the rules of Mafia here (got this off a fellow blogger's site), as played by the guys at Princeton U. We play it a bit differently, with Spies instead of Angels, and Doctors/Medics, being the aspiring physicians that we are. *grin* Oh, and we usually don't have a handy deck of cards around to draw from, so we tear up bits of paper to write down the roles. We have people going:
B: "I think A's the killer because she's sitting opposite the one who got killed, and it's so easy for him to lift his finger and point at the victim..."
A: "No, no! I'm so innocent, how could I kill anyone?" *makes the most innocent face she could possibly make, think Puss in Boots*
B: "Then who...?"
A: "C lah!"
*C gets killed*
At the end of the game...
Moderator: "The Mafia wins! And the Mafia was A and ...
Lesson: The most innocent people make the best Mafia.
Or:
Moderator: "Medic wakes up! Who are you going to heal today, medic?"
D: *frantically points to herself to attract the medic's attention*
Medic: *points to herself with a wicked grin*
Moderator: "Okay, medic goes to sleep..."
...
Moderator: "And the town wakes up! D was found dead, choked on kuaci!"
D: "Eh, medic, why didn't you heal me??"
Lesson: Medics can be very selfish sometimes. :>
etc...
A truly enjoyable game.
